Microporous thermal insulation materials are adopted in jacket lining of tundish, the following effects can be achieved:

(1).Reduce baking time of tundish, lower energy usage.

(2).Beneficial to low superheat, constant temperature and constant speed casting to enhance the quality of casting blank.

(3).Sharply reduce the temperature of outer wall of steel ladle, protect the jacketing from transformation, improve and operating environment of workers.
